Node Pro runs TelemetryOS Edge, a purpose-built operating system that enables platform capabilities beyond standard media players — containers, IoT connectivity, and industrial I/O.
- Docker container support. Run sidecar containers alongside TelemetryOS applications for custom data processing, integration services, or local inference — all managed through TelemetryOS Studio.
- MQTT broker connectivity. Publish and subscribe to MQTT brokers for bidirectional communication with building management systems, lighting controls, industrial sensors, and smart infrastructure.
- Serial communication (RS-232/RS-485). Interface with legacy AV equipment, industrial machines, and building systems through USB-to-serial adapters. The TelemetryOS SDK exposes serial I/O for send/receive messaging.
